Second Thursday

Park Lane Art Walk in Kirkland galleries and business on Park Lane are open from 6-9pm. The street will be closed to traffic, and in conjunction with Jazz Night the merchants will provide live jazz music on the street. Seattle Art Museum, 1st. Ave. & Union Street, 7pm special screening of the film Andrew Wyeth: Self-Portrait—Snow Hill introduced by Bo Bartlett. 7pm. Free and open to the public,  but  Registration required if planning to attend.

Frayed Wire is a one day event bringing together people at the intersection of art and technology. 9:00am - 6:00pm day camp at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center and 7:00pm - 12:00pm evening reception at 911 Media Arts Center.

Pilchuck Open House and Pilchuck Society Day. A once-a-year opportunity for individuals to visit Pilchuck Glass School’s campus at 1201 316th St. NW in Stanwood.  Visitors can tour the studios, meet artists, watch demonstrations of hot, warm and cold glassworking while enjoying the school’s forested setting. As donors, the members of the Pilchuck Society are extended exclusive benefits and free admission. Tickets are $20 for adults; children 12 and under are admitted free.  Please contact 206-621-8422, ext. 34 or email reservations@pilchuck.com to make reservations.

Dick Francis Wiouma “In Creation the Raven Sings,” at 2pm. Northwest Coast Native artists Rande Cook and Francis Dick will bring their culture alive by connecting the elements of art and song The event, which is co-sponsored by the Arctic Raven Gallery, Skagit Valley College and The San Juan Island Library, will be held at the Friday Harbor Grange and is free and open to the public.
