Seattle Design Center Art Walk is from 5 – 9pm. at 5701 Sixth Ave.

Tacoma Art Walk. Tacoma’s galleries, Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum. And the Washington State History Museum are open from 5 – 8pm. All three museums are free.


August 22

Seattle Art Museum Olympic Sculpture Park SAM Remix from 8pm to midnight. Celebrate Seattle arts and culture with SAM’s exhibition Modernism in the Pacific Northwest: The Mythic and the Mystical and new art at the Olympic Sculpture Park including Trimpin’s YOU ARE HEAR and Jaume Plensa’s Echo during this creative night out.

The 49th Annual Grayland Driftwood Show and Glass Float Roundup in the Grayland Community Hall on Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm. The Driftwood Show attracts entries of all types including driftwood creations that are ‘finished’ or ‘natural’; driftwood carvings and floral arrangements on driftwood.

Mavi Contemporary open tonight 5-9pm for the Tacoma Art Walk

Mavi Contemporary Art, 502 Sixth Avenue in Tacoma, wants all to remember the Tacoma Art Walk  tonight and to come by, sip some wine and meet the 20 artists showing in “Zoom in Tacoma,” their exhibit in collaboration with the Tacoma Art Museum. The reception is from 5-9pm.
