“Earth, Sky and Water,” opens Friday, March 17 from 6:30-8pm at the Arts of Kenmore, at Kenmore City Hall, 18120 68th Ave NE in Kenmore. The opening reception includes presentations by Mayor David Baker, City Manager Rob Karlinsey, and the Hwy 522 Beautification Projects committee. Find out how this really happened and why 10 Semi-Finalist Artists are vying for the giant public art installation along the Burke-Gilman Trail.
On view through September 29 at the Kenmore City Hall at 18120 68th Ave NE in Kenmore, is a special exhibit of the Kenmore Living History Art Mural Project. A dedication and ribbon cutting is schedule for September 5 from 11am – 2pm. Artists A. Gaul Culley and Staci Adman will tell some of the cultural stories that inspired the images that make up the mural. The project is part of the Arts of Kenmore.
The Arts of Kenmore Gallery, 18120 68th Ave NE in Kenmore’s city hall, opens from 6-8pm tonight with a reception introducing their new group exhibition. Included during the reception is a presentation on the history of The Arts of Kenmore through its sixteen-year history. Hear from AOK’s first president, Roland Lindstrom, and current president, Dave Maehren.
