Bellingham First Friday Artwalk

CaptureArtwood Gallery, 1000 Harris Avenue in Bellingham’s Historic Fairhaven District will be featuring Natural Edges: bowls, furniture and accessories that have the bark edge left on the wood when the item is turned or constructed. This adds particular interest if the wood has a wavy or curly grain, and it displays the material in a way that makes you think of the tree it was made from. Artwood shows the work of dozens of artists who work in wood, glass, steel, and other materials. There are furniture pieces, bowls, small boxes for jewelry, woodenware for the kitchen, sculpture, jewelry, paintings, and more.

fourthFrank G Craig will be the featured artist  at Fourth Corner Frames & Gallery, 311 W. Holly Street in downtown Bellingham the month of January. Be sure to stop by the gallery to enjoy his distinctive style of quick, spontaneous brushstrokes depicting the life and landscapes of where he lived and traveled from Southern California to Bellingham. This show will also feature examples of his ceramic and photographic works as well. This show will hang in the gallery through January 20.  Art Walk reception January 5, 6pm – 9pm
