Quirky Curiosities and More This Month at Fine Impressions Gallery

fineSometimes  favorite pieces are the strange, quirky curiosities at the Fine Impressions Gallery, 8300 5th. Avenue NE.  For example,  this pair of Kookaburras from the 1838 "Birds of Australia and Adjacent Islands." Artist John Gould recalled the book when he realized that the mating pair of birds was actually two males. Check out more pieces on the homepage this month including a fantastic new set of maps and diagrams from the "Meyer’s Zeitung-Atlas."
