First Friday Artwalk in Anacortes

The First Friday Artwalk is Friday, July 7 from 6 – 9 pm.

705 Commercial Ave., ACME Creative

ACME Creative continues their exhibition Landscape in the Anthropocene curated by Natalie Niblack. Natural and cultural environments can no longer be separated, and nature is now shaped by culture. More often than not, landscape painting reflects the desires and romantic ideal of the culture that produces it, rather than the reality outside the front door. This exhibition asks the viewer to recognize the consequences of our relationship with the environment.
