“"Northwest Social Realism and the American Scene: 1930-1950,” is featured during the Edmonds Art Walk and will be on view at the Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Avenue E., through March 26. The exhibition focuses on Northwest artists and their depictions of scenes of everyday life in the Northwest during the 1930s through the 1950s.
The Cole Gallery, 107 5th. Avenue S., features, “Breathe,” a new show by Andy Eccleshall featuring serene landscapes, light-filled skies and quiet evening nightscapes.
The Northwest Pastel Society is holding it’s first ever Mixed Media exhibit at Gallery North, 401 Main Street, this month. 24 pieces of artwork have been juried into the show by 16 artists from Washington, Oregon and California. Participating artists have combined pastels with other media such as monotypes, handmade prints, watercolors, acrylic inks, collage, acrylic paints, and colored pencils.
