New Shows in Bellingham

artwoodFeatured for February at the Artwood Gallery, 1000 Harris Avenue in the Fairhaven Historic district of Bellingham,  are the collages of Francy Blumhagen: framed art featuring such themes as herons and owls, both colorful and subdued, delightfully rendered in mixed media. Also small tables made by Gary Leake of highly decorative and unusual woods creatively assembled. February being Valentine month, Artwood has a selection of heart boxes, kitchen ware, jewelry, bowls,  cards, and other gifts.

 

 

“Make Me an Offer” is on view at Fourth Corner Frames & Gallery, 311 W. Holly Street in Bellingham, through February 28. FCF has been acquiring an eclectic range of original art, mirrors, prints, posters, and frames, and the storage area is bursting. It is time to “make me an offer I can’t refuse!” All the items they have been “storing” including original works by Rob Vetter, Helen Loggie, and Frank G. Craig. Tons of limited edition and original prints by Rie Munoz, Byron Birdsall, Yvonne Davis, and many more artists both framed and unframed. All are available for viewing.
