Knight Visions Gallery hosts Hal Sutherland July 19 at Davenport Cellars in Woodinville

knight On July 19, from 4-8pm, Knight Visions Studio/Gallery will host famed animation legend and painter, Hal Sutherland along with Edmonds artist and teacher Bonnie Hodges in a special evening of art, music and wine at the Davenport Cellars. Sutherland catapulted to fame in 1954 as a result of his work on the film, "Sleeping Beauty.” His animation career would include Harmon Studios ("Popeye" & "Bozo the Clown", "Dick Tracy"), work at True Line Studios ( "Rod Rocket" ), and he became director and a co-founder of Filmation Studios. He received an Emmy for his work on the animated Star Trek series. Now living in Washington State, Sutherland devotes his time to fine art.
